The Local Show featuring Kei Kamara

This episode of KCPT's "The Local Show" features an interview of Kei Kamara, at the time a striker for the local MLS side Sporting Kansas City. The interview was conducted by KCPT's resident Brit Nick Haines (who is Welsh, not English).

I was on "Nick Cam" for the interview, which took place on the same day as a certain "Kansas City Week in Review" interview with a certain Governor of Kansas. Nick had noted that said Governor didn't attempt to shake hands with me, which is fine because I didn't (and will never) vote for him. Nick's response: "Oh, you're the one." As for the interview itself, before we started rolling I learned that Nick is a boyhood fan of English side Wolverhampton Wanderers (who were relegated from the Premier League that particular season). Since this interview, Kamara briefly went on loan to Premier League side Norwich City and is currently (as of this blog posting) with Championship side Middlesbrough.
