It occurred to me that I hadn't shared any of the work I did for KCPT yet. Well, let's correct that.
This is the February 16, 2012 edition of KCPT's "The Local Show." It is a weekly news magazine co-hosted by Nick Haines and Randy Mason, focusing on news and cultural happenings in the Kansas City area. It features interviews and news packages, and is quite informal compared to KCPT's other in-house programs, "Ruckus" (a political debate program) and "Kansas City Week in Review" (a news discussion program, hosted by Nick). This episode of "The Local Show" contains the first piece of camera work I was allowed to do for KCPT. Near the end of the program was an in-studio performance by a Lawrence musical group (and married couple) called Truckstop Honeymoon. I was put on the center camera and was limited to carefully timed zooms.
